The laboratory also conducts studies in the field of road traffic automation.

A strategic partner of the laboratory concerning the studies is BME ITS Non-profit Plc (founded by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics).

The central court of Budapest ordered the colleagues of the laboratory as traffic automation expert in the case of a traffic accident (case nr. 172-1084/2004).

The labour court of county Pest ordered the colleagues of the laboratory as traffic automation expert for completion of a former informatics expert report (case nr.  3.M.1712/2006).
